mouting a single disk of a RAID

hello,

Just was wondering if anyone knows of an easy way to mount a disk that is part of a RAID as a stand-along entity; that is, I have a RAID level one that utilized /dev/hdb1 and /dev/sda1 and would like to not only mount these as a raid, /dev/md0, but also each as individual disks. The reason for this is that I would like to hdparm -tT them each on their own and then together for comparison.

thanks,
jdt
