Mount Problem

Lately Ive been having a problem when trying to mount blank CDs and DVDs. Whenever I try to mount, I get this:
Code:
root@Hostyle:/mnt# mount /dev/hdb /mnt/cdrom
mount: block device /dev/hdb is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: you must specify the filesystem type
root@Hostyle:/mnt#
I know it isnt the CDs themselves since I have tried 2 types of blank CDS and one kind of blank DVDs. I have burned both before with this burner, I dont know what could be causing this.

Thanks,
Sys

If they are blank then there will not be a filesystem and therefore nothing to mount.

Do you mean it happens after you have burnt files to them?
