Cool MD5 hashes

I am wondering about something. Does the MD5 hashes on each mirror site have to be the same as the one on the linux distro's site. Example, does the Redhat MD5 for RH7.3 images have to match the MD5 hashes on one of their mirror sites. Been having some probs installing RH7.3, keeps telling me disc2 is the wrong disc, when I know it is disc2. Thanx....

I dont know for sure but I'd say the MD5 hashes do have to be the same, if they didnt, it would kind of defeat the purpose of having them in the first place, from the sounds of it your disc2 is scratched or corrupt, same thing happened to me with 2 out of 3 burned disks of Mankrake, CD-R disks cost me about 15 cents each, looks like I got what I payed for!
