Making Bootable CDs

Hi,

I'm downloaded the Slack 8.1 packages and would like to boot from CD instead of diskette. I use cd creator to make it into .iso file but it does not boot. Any ideas?

The wording of your question makes me think you simply burned the file to the disk, as data. Can you actually browse directories on the disc, or when you mount it, does it just show the original .iso file?
