Mac similar Window Manager


is it possible to get a mac Os X look for Fedora Core 2 or any other distrib im a noob so i dunno. Cause arent both os *nix based so i dont see why not

u can mod Gnome 2 to look like Mac OSx or just about anything u want. KDE is pretty customizable too

P.S. i looked for screenshots, couldn't find them but i know they're out there - do ur own google search if u really wanna see

KDE can do this easily, look for Aqua or MAC on http://www.kde-look.org/ theres loads.

Themes, icons, styles, and window decorations.

From what I see, KDE is able to make all applications' menus appear at the top.

Is it true? Or did the author have to drag the menu to the top by hand, for the show?

Even if KDE is only able to do so with QT applications, I'd consider a good performance!

yea i think so I think you can make the GUI appear to be just as a mac or pretty darn close to it. with gnome or kde

yes u could put the bar on top , just right click on it then choose configure then choose its postition

p.s. sorry i am at work using win2000 so i cant be accurate

Or, if u wanna be pioneering u can take screenshots of mac and use them for windows decorations. not sure of the legality or how to implement this, just throwing an idea out

To the top bar? The way I did it was to draw the shadow onto my wallpaper with the GIMP, then it looks like there is a drop shadow from the top bar. For some Gnome to Mac tips try out:
