Looking for the linux equivalent of Norton Ghost

I'm looking for the linux equivalent of Norton ghost as I have to replicate essentially the same install of Mandrake 9.2 on about 80 systems. There will be some minor variations that can be handled by installing specific version of some custom code but essentially they are all going to be identical systems from just a couple of vendors with the same specs. Is there an open source alternative out there? I tried googling ghost and that got me a lot about Norton's Ghost but nothing about any similar Linux products.

Thanks
M. Lacy

The "dd" command can perform a bit by bit copy of an input source to an output source. If you are looking to "ghost" one drive to another, and as long as the drives are the same capacity, dd will probably work for you. Please see the man pages for more detail, and good luck with it -- J.W.

Often the easiest way to use partimage is to download a LiveCD such as Knoppix and boot off that and use it from there.
