Hello all,
About a week ago I can across news article on the web where the CIO of a major wall street firm was migrating the company to use linux and it was projected that he would save the company millions of $$$$ of time. The problem I have is that I can't locate the article, and I can't remember which site I visited and read the article.
I believe the name of the company in question is J.P. Morgan Chase. However, I may be wrong and it could be another big wall street firm. I did keyword searches such as "morgan", "wallstreet", and "wall street". So far I've been unable to locate the article.
Here is a list of sites that I searched:
- Fresh Meat
- New Forge
- source forge
- linuxworld
- linux today
- Linux newbie (
www.justlinux.com)
- Linux questions
- Linux planet
- Linux Journal
- The register
- Wall Street Journal
- USA Today
If you come across the article, or have any advice on locating it, please reply. Thanks.
