I am looking for good books / tutorial / programmer's guide about the new 64 bit assembly languange in Linux for the new dual core or quad cores CPU.
What is the title / author of the books?

search on intel and amd's sites for programmers guides for x86-64.

...just don't expect that the assembly language will be noticeably different from that for the mono-core processors, or that knowing the assembly language will be all that much use to you for programming in Linux.
