Linux with ACPI/S3 capability

I am not sure if this is the right sub-forum to raise this question.

I am looking for a compact linux distribution that can fit onto to an USB stick. The Linux should have the ACPI capability and thereby support S3 testing.
Using such a version of Linux, I hope to do S3 testing for memory subsystems.

Can anyone recommend what distribution of Linux would be most suitable and appropriate?

Thanks in advance.
