some members here have seen my thread about whether it is ethical
to sell multidistro cd/dvd/usb's on Ebay or at my site

Well, I think it is an OK thing
Not just because alot of people like OnDisc,etc do it...
but, also because I believe
it fills a demand in a niche market
a market that has virtually no supply

I have searched a little and have not found
what I can make

OK, so what the hell am I talking about?

so, is this a good idea or no?

I would say the subscriber service
wherein you would receive say DVD #2
would be maybe 4.99 a month or less fee

Is that decent?

I will also be selling Grub2 cd/dvdand usbs's too
along with reg isolinux dvd's and syslinux/grub usb's

What I really wanna do though
is make a GUI tool so that when you go to the site
you can choose whatever distros you want on a cd/dvd/or usb
and as long as its compatible and of right size (700mb cd/4.7GB DVD or dula layer)

so, you could clikc a couple buttons and for about $5.00+s&H you could have
your own custom cut of whatever distro's you wanted

Gong even further it would be cool to be able to use xnest
from the site and that way you could start with a base
image like opensuse, ubuntu, etc
and then customize the desktop
and add whatever apps you want
then the dvd/cd,etc would be created and sent to
you or avail as download

any thoughts?

Charging money for something others put out there for free? Hmmmm .... I know you'll say it's the format of them together you're charging for and not the actual Linuxes themselves, but it's not something I'd feel comfortable doing.

I noticed you have different base distros....
Will you have a Gentoo flavor?
