Unhappy linux 8.0 installation trouble

dear all
i am facing problems in loading linux .
server config is as follows
Xeon 2.7 GHz/ 1GB ECC RAM/2*36 GB SCSI HDD/ ADAPTEC 7902 SCSI controller

i tried to load Linux in several ways
1> boot the server through Linux cd 1 of 3. then the message is comming "linux cd could not found in the cd rom". in the boot prompt i gave the command " linux hda=cdrom" where 52x cd rom drive was as primary master. then also same message is comming.
2> i boot through 1 of 3 cd rom & in the boot prompt i gave the command "linux dd". it asked for scsi driver floppy & driver is loaded. but after asking for kbd type & language this message is comming " the second stage of the install which you have selected does not match the boot disk which you are using. this should not happen & i am rebooting your system now."
3> i made boot floppy of linux using rawrite. in the boot prompt i gave "linux dd" & loaded the scsi driver. still the message comming is " the second stage of the install which you have selected does not match the boot disk which you are using. this should not happen & i am rebooting your system now."
both the hard disk are in id 0 & 1 of ch a of the scsi controller.
pls help me to get this linux instaled in this server

This is Redhat 8.0 ver.

Many installs (not sure about RH 8) require you to make another floppy for scsi drive. It should have the name scsi.img in the images directory of your CD. try using that image to get your scsi going.
