Large disk size
I am running slackware 3.0. I have recently run into a problem trying to install a 73 GB scsi drive. I can put a partition and file system on the drive (ext2) and I can mount it. The problem is when I try and run fsck against it, fsck gives me the following error:
Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Available Capacity Mounted on
/dev/hda2 109787 43337 60780 42% /
/dev/hda3 6944846 1714 6583276 0% /workspace
/dev/sda1 69257692 56 65673540 0% /workspace/media002
dgs:~# e2fsck /dev/sda1
e2fsck 1.02, 16-Jan-96 for EXT2 FS 0.5a, 95/03/19
Pass 1: Checking inodes, blocks, and sizes
Pass 2: Checking directory structure
e2fsck: %s: Can't allocate buffer for inode count
Then the process returns to a prompt. I cannot find a way around this at the present time.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks
