Arrow Konqueror won't go home!!!

Hi everyone,
I just switched my desktop to KDE and now I use Konqueror as my browser. In the Settings menu, I chose configure Konqueror and set the home page to www.google.ca
IT WON't go there. When I open it, it goes to some Fedora file in /usr/share/.... It'll only go home after I press the home button. What's wrong?

Thanx,
Cikotic.

Under settings there are some options for "view profiles".
I got Konq to open up to my homepage by setting it to the "webbrowsing" view mode The setting stuck.
