klogd - how to use full version

Hi,
I'm using a stripped down linux called trinux.
Unfortunately, the klogd command is also stripped down too.

There is only

klogd [-c n] [-n]

instead of the full version whereby I can do a

klogd -f filename

where filename is the file where I can log down kernel messages.

Is there a way where I can upgrade my stripped dwon klogd to a full version?
