knaries2000 LQ Newbie Registered: Aug 2003 Posts: 2 Rep:	kjournald assertion failure I'm playing around with the file system in linux and keep getting this Assertion Assertion failure in journal_commit_transaction() at commit.c:726: "commit_transaction->t_state == T_COMMIT" kernel BUG at commit.c:726! I'm running 2.4.21 with RedHat 8.0. I'm pretty sure I caused it, but don't really know what, does any one know what that error means. Any help would be appriciated, Thanks...
