kinda confused 64 bit??

Ok heres the deal... I have had windows on my new pc for ages now, and well its starting to get to me! I use it only because I like to play BF2... But, the time has come - dual boot for BF2 and on teh other.. who knows, and that brings me my question I have been a medium time user of slackware :P I now have a 64bit system (AMD) and am looking at my options SLAMD64 looks like a good option but then again so does debian64... at this point I am really open to all suggestions
second, I really want to use enlightnment E17 (looks wicked!)... would this work with these distros?
or in the end am I better to go with good old slack? because of the lack of 64 bit apps?

P.S I know this has probably been asked time and time again.. my apologies for the repetition.. just need a straight answer

cheers
Jurgen

You can take the quizes in my signature if you're interested in trying a different distro.

I don't think Debian has enlightment 17 yet, but I'm not sure... If it does, it's sure to be in unstable...
