Question Kernel config question


On the last step of kernel config, where is asks if i want to save the choices under an alternate file, what is that used for?

you can make multiple configurations for different reasons.. like if you configure a kernel but then want to use another configuration for later, or maybe to resort back to another configuration...
i personally never use it.. i just compile.. go from there.
