Question KDE bug tracker change, explain please


Got an email from KDE bug tracker saying:

           What    |Removed                     |Added
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
             Status|UNCONFIRMED                 |NEW
     Ever Confirmed|0                           |1
What does this mean? What kind of change?

The bug's status has been changed from 'Unconfirmed' to 'New' (presumably because someone confirmed that they were also affected)
