Question KDE bug tracker change, explain please

Got an email from KDE bug tracker saying:
... changed:

           What |Removed |Added
             Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW
     Ever Confirmed|0 |1
What does this mean? What kind of change?

The bug's status has been changed from 'Unconfirmed' to 'New' (presumably because someone confirmed that they were also affected)
