is there a way to stop cronjobs mail for certain acticities
Hi i am getting weired mails running other than what all i have configured in my cronjobs i think for some other activities also m getting some messages
is there a way to check it out
as i get the following mwssage every 15 minutes
Cron: can't change directory to your home directory.
Your commands will not be executed.
I'd suggest having a look at all
crontab files (whereever they may
be in whatever distro you use) and
try to locate which ones are run every
15 minutes and fix the error rather than
suppressing the output :}
but i didn't find any cron running after every 10-15 minutes and these junk mails come very irregularly such as fater 25 minutes then after every 3 minutes even late night or early morninh when nothing is running on the system.
will you please tell me what all crontab files may be i may be missing some one and where will i find them
i am getting 2 mails at the same time say 10 a.m. stating the same then a mail after 3 minutes say 10:03 a.m. and all is there any cron which runs all the time or something.
hi all i have under etc is a cron file thts it there is nothng like cron.daily..crom.hourly......
and when i did crontab -e the follwing is the output
# This file is used to schedule the tasks.
# Be careful while modifying this file.
