Is Konqueror the only browser...

...that allows you to change the browser ID? I love using Mozilla or Firebird, but there are several websites I use where these browsers render horribly. If I use Konqueror and set the Browser ID to IE, it will render the pages properly. Unfortunately, Konqueror lacks a lot of the features I need (like saving passwords, etc). Is there anything I can do, short of going back to IE? (please say there is!)

You can change the user agent string in Mozilla by editing .mozilla/default/yqf42890.slt/prefs.js or user.js and adding the lines

// Override the default user-agent string:
user_pref("general.useragent.override", "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0; hi, Mom) Gecko/20020604");

I do wish more of the things you can tweak in prefs.js were tweakable using Mozilla's preferences dialogs.

Opera has an easy way of setting the browser-ID in preferences-network.
