Question IRQ sharing

cat interrupts
CPU0
0: 392997 XT-PIC timer
1: 6 XT-PIC keyboard
2: 0 XT-PIC cascade
5: 1 XT-PIC Crystal audio controller
8: 1 XT-PIC rtc
9: 6987 XT-PIC aic7xxx, usb-uhci
10: 1003 XT-PIC 3c515
12: 358 XT-PIC PS/2 Mouse
14: 2 XT-PIC ide0
NMI: 0
ERR: 0

This was in RH7.2. Is there something wrong here, or is Linux now able to do IRQ sharing like Win9x does? (IRQ9 looks like it's being shared.)
