Installing Phurple on FC12


Hi,

I am installing Phurple on FC12, since no rpm is available for Fedora/RHEL, so i am installing it from soure. during first step it stop with error.

Code:
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether to enable phurple support... yes, shared
checking for glib files in default path... found in /usr
checking for g_hash_table_new in -lglib-2.0... yes
checking for purple files in default path... not found
configure: error: Please reinstall the phurple distribution
The problem it identifies for PURPLE files in default path not found.
i have installed libpurple from rpm, these are located in

 root# rpm -ql libpurple 

/usr/lib/libpurple-client.so.0
/usr/lib/libpurple-client.so.0.6.4
/usr/lib/libpurple.so.0
/usr/lib/libpurple.so.0.6.4
/usr/lib/purple-2

i installed PHURPL on RHEL 5.3, and now stucked on this. when i browse this on webpage
