I need help with Partimage restore path

I am using the SystemRescue CD trying to restore an image using Partimage. The image is stored in hdb1, not in a directry. I try to mount the partition but it tells me that /dev/hdb1 is not in fstab. I think this is why I am not able to restore the image, I can not get the drive mounted from the SystemRescue CD at the root prompt ?

When I use a file manager, this is what it shows for a path to my image:

/mnt/hdb1/name_of_image

Then, what should the path be when I actually enter it in Partimage for the restore from path ?

Can anyone tell what I may doing wrong, I have spent so much time on this it is unbelievable so I was hoping someone here could help me. If you need more info just let me know.

I wonder if you are using the command correctly. Sometimes, you also need to use the filesystem type. For example:
mkdir /mnt/hdb1
mount -t ext3 /dev/hdb1 /mnt/hdb1

Also, you may have better results with a more current livecd like PCLinuxOS. That livecd tends to auotmount everything it finds which is not good when doing a backup/restore operation. So, you need to un-mount the target partition before hand.
