Arrow I have problem with NVIDIA graphic card driver

I am using Kali Linux on my Acer E1-571G to install Nvidia drivers

I copied these commands to terminal:

apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
apt-get install -y linux-headers-$(uname -r)
apt-get install nvidia-kernel-dkms

Then

sed 's/quiet/quiet nouveau.modeset=0/g' -i /etc/default/grub
update-grub
reboot

after i rebooted i typed this command: glxinfo | grep -i "direct rendering"

but i don't get : direct rendering: Yes as output

i get :
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual or fbconfig
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".

what's wrong?

Then i typed this: aptitude install nvidia-xconfig

in hope that it would work then :

nvidia-xconfig

but after i reboot i get a blackscreen error so i removed xconfig using rm in ctrl+ Alt + F1

But the issue is i still don't have nvidia graphics drivers working

running "apt-get dist-upgrade" on kali is not a good idea
you can break all the tools the kali development team put in the OS

also DO NOT !!!!!!
use any other repo than what IS IN THE KALI 1.0.8 iso image
the other repos WILL BREAK THINGS !!!!!!

if you need a nvidia driver install the NVIDIA.run driver
likely this will NEED!!!!! to be the CUDA 6 SDK compatible driver
https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-downloads

a lot of the tools in kali use CUDA

well for one you should use the CUDA sdk nvidia driver on kali
most of the " optional EXTRAS " ( bond ,James bond- ones) use CUDA

and to be blunt
klali was / is designed by computer security EXPERTS for use BY COMPUTER SECURITY EXPERTS

and by expert i mean someone with a Masters or equivalent of a 6 year degree in Computer sciences and network security and
has a minor in scripted languages
