Unhappy httpd Problem...

Hi,
I'm having a small problem with httpd, everytime I try to access a virtual host(named daeka), I get this message:
"Permission denied: access to / denied"

I use RedHat 8 with Apache 2.0.40.
Anyone knows why I get this message?

Thanks in advance!

Well, do you have read permissions on the directory where your storing your virtual hosts? If your provide more details it might help us give better responses, maybe posting your httpd.conf file here, etc ?

Thanks for replying...
Well, I do have permission to acess the directory since it's in my home folder.
Anyways, my httpd.conf is in the next thread.

YOU can access that folder, because it is yr home folder, but APACHE or other user can't access that folder

You don't have to post the whole file, maybe just the part where you have virtual hosts configured maybe, or maybe post it somewhere to view instead of posting here?? But what aero stated could be the possibility.

Thanks Areo, i taught apache had root privileges...
That solved the problem:
-I moved my webpage to /var/www/html
-Then made me owner of a sub-folder
