How to Start Mandriva 2007 (local host question)


I can not start Mandriva 2007, it asks the local host in the command line, but I don't know it?? please help me

The system has already started. You need to enter your username and password. If you want to start a gui, then enter the command "startx" after entering your username and password. If you sucecssfully start the GUI, you may want to make it start by default. You would run Konsole (a terminal emulator), enter "kdesu kwrite" to start the kwrite editor with admin privileges, navigate to the /etc/ directory and open a file called inittab. Change id:3:initdefault: to id:5:initdefault:. Save the file and close kwrite.
