How to rip an audio-cd-image

Hiho,
I have got images of audio cds. Since I have got no CD burning device, I'd like to rip the images just from hdd. Unfortunately one can't mount audio-cd-images, and my ripping-softwares just support ripping from devices. Nonetheless I got quite ambitious now, since I thought about linux all the time as an console-only-able operating system.
So any handy tips?

If you're talking about the common bin/cue type of cd images, the following programs will help you.

bchunk
shntools
cuetools

Of the three, the shnsplit program from shntools is probably the one you'll want to use most.
