How to resize NTFS w/ Bad sector

I have a NTFS partition that I am trying to resize but can't because it has a bad sector and ntfsresize is complaining about it, even after running chkdsk and using the -b and -f options with ntfsresize.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Fix it from Windows, from My Computer highlight the drive and right click, choose Properties and then the tab "Tools" click on Error Checking Check Now button.

This is what I have done

After backing up data, running Chkdsk /f, Chkdsk /f /r, and rebooting twice, I went into GPARTED and using
ntfsresize -b -f -s 20G /dev/hda1
I get something like this:

Error reading $Mft records : I/O error
failed to open extent inode: I/O error
failed to map extent inode: I/O error
100% completed
accounting clusters
cluster accounting failed at #### (Hex): extra cluster in $bitmap
filesystem check failed: Totally 5689 cluster accounting mismatches
Error NTFS file system is inconsistent
Then is says to use chkdsk /f

HELP!!!
