How-To Logrotate on Friday every week?

I am currently using logrotate to do all of my log maint. and there are several logs being done daily,weekly, etc.. What I want to control is one single log that needs to get rotated every Friday at 5pm...

I see that I can set the schedule to weekly in the logrotate.conf file, But can I control for this one file to be "Weekly on Friday at 5pm" ?

Entry from /etc/logrotate.conf
# system-specific logs may be also be configured here.
/var/log/myupdater.log {
rotate 52
weekly
copytruncate
ifempty
mail techteam@mydomain.com
mailfirst
}

My logrotate is setup in /etc/cron.daily/logrotate at 4:30am

Any thoughts on how I can do this?

For a quick fix:

Install webmin
Start the webmin service
Open your web browser
Type in the address field https://<your server's IP>:10000
Log in as root
Go to the "System" tab
Click on the "Log File Rotation" icon
Make your changes here.

Hope this helps,

Write a separate logrotate config file just for that log, and call logrotate through cron. Make sure you specify the new config file as an argument to logrotate.
