How to Lock keyboard ?


Hi People

Could someone please tell me how to lock the keyboard, though my comp' on, while I am away from my desk, so that no one can meddle with my comp ??

I came across something called *xlock* or *kdedesktop_lock* .... But I am not sure about to how to use them.... neither could I find ne manual tat wud help me do it...

And one more thing... I cant find *xlock* in my comp... :-((

Instead of locking the keyboard I suggest that you use a screensaver that requires a password to get back into the computer.
You can set that up using the KDE Control Center. You can also set up the screensaver so that it can be invoked by some key combination, say <cntrl> <shift> <tab>

Then you can hit <cntrl> <shift> <tab> and walk away from yuour computer.
