how to install rsh RPM package on linux 5

hi,
I just installed redhat linux 5 server on one workstation, after installation, I can't find service "rsh", while I run the command "chkconfig --list rsh", the output showed me that no such service installed.
firstly, I tried to installed some RPM package about rsh from the Installation CD, but I don't know which RPM package it is.
could anyone give me some instruction how to install it ?
secondly, I tried to use the menu "applications--->add/remove software",unlickily, I don't know how to operate it.
I am expecting your help.

Thanks,

Insert your installation dvd into drive and run:
Code:
rpm -ivh /media/cdrom/Server/rsh-0.17-38.el5.i386.rpm
rpm -ivh /media/cdrom/Server/rsh-server-0.17-38.el5.i386.rpm
Of course the name of the rpms could be different depending of your arch (eg could be rsh-0.17-38.el5.x86_64.rpm and rsh-server-0.17-38.el5.x86_64.rpm for 64bit RHEL)

Hi,bathory

Thanks for your answer. you must be an expert of Linux.
I have another question, for example, for the service and command "rsh", I don't know which RPM includes it. how could I find a way to determine which RPM package that includes it ?

To find the package name for a specific application that exists in the installation media (ie for rsh), you can run:
Code:
find /media/cdrom -iname "*rsh*"
For software that isn't included in the installation media, you can use rpm search engines, like pbone or rpmfind

Regards
