How do I unmount my windows deive from Linux


Thanks to all those who gave me suggestion on how to mount the windows drive to linux .

But can you please tell me how to unmount the windows drive, once I am done with it?

# umount /mnt/[windows_drive] (whatever is the mount point) as root.
You need to close anything that was reading that partition, like a file manager, first.
See $ man umount.
