Question Help with GCC


Hii I am using PCLINUXOS and KERNEL 2.6.15.6 and trying to install GCC 4.1 from source, and keep getting errors while doing the MAKE
Can some one please help me out here?
Maybe explaing me from A to Z how to make it right?

Maybe someone can be helpful if you post the errors that you get when you run make.

Hii I have mannged to fix the problem, but the Make is very slow, what a shame

Hello again, I have finished it a last!
Can I delete the Source from wich I have done "make" now?

Yes. I keep getting "Make Error 2" with anything except
../gcc-4.1.0/configure
make bootstrap

after that, make, make check, make install, etc. all fail with Make error 2.

any advice?

GCC 4.0.2
Kernel 2.6.13-15.8

Amm, Can you post the erorr?
I think you have the same one I had due to old version of autoconfig or make
