GUI Intergace development In Linux

Hello

I was wondering if there is a compiler like .NET for linux.
An IDE that would build GUI Linux applications, using C# or C++.

Or would I just use JAVA for GUI apps in linux??

Mono is available for .Net. As for GUI toolkits, take a look at qt and gtk. Good IDEs are Kdevelop and Anjuta.
