Guarddog Help!


OK. I've installed guarddog. Now the problem is how to uninstall it and delete all the files and entries it created.(I mean how and where to delete the config it created for iptables)Thanks in advance!

I think the first question is how did you install it?

By binary or source?

Well, I've downloaded the guarddog source and then went the usual(./configure, make, make install).By default the 'make install' installed the packages to /usr/local/bin and usr/local/man.

check the man pages for make

but I believe if you enter the directory where you untarred and ./configured ,make, make install guarddog and do a

make clean

that should remove the installed guarddog components

If I am wrong somebody please correct me

I think you are not right Dai, make clean removes all *.o files from the directory.
