Talking Gtk or Qt ?(and some more information)

Well i've think of starting coding visual applications on Linux.I am running KDE right now, but kde get's boring after a few months.I find GNOME good eye looking but a lot of guys suggest WindowMaker(for kde is qt,for gnome gtk, for windowmaker ...? )

Most applications with what are coded , Gtk or Qt ??
Isn' t there something unique to run in all x-enviroments ??
Btw, can gtk apps run in kde and reverse ?

Well, GTK and Qt are both greatand easy to use. You can find plenty of guide and tutorials to work on these.

I think that gtk apps are compatible with kde and the reverse is also true. gtk and qt are not desktop specific

For Window Maker
http://www.windowmaker.org/development-resources.html
http://www.windowmaker.org/faq-chapter9.html

GTK/GNOME
http://www.gtk.org/
http://glade.gnome.org/
http://developer.gnome.org/

QT/KDE
http://www.trolltech.com/products/qt/
http://developer.kde.org/

If you have the gtk and qt libraries installed then the apps will run in KDE, GNOME or any other window manager
