Unhappy Grub menu does not load


Yesterday I was installing nvidia driver
everything went fine and smooth
Today while booting my PC when grub starts to load I see the word GRUB and a blinking cursor, Menu does not show up
any clue?

You might try booting up with a LiveCD and make sure that the system is ok. Check and make sure that grub.conf and menu.lst are safe. There is a program called Ultimate Boot CD that might be able to help. You can use it to repair grub if it is damaged.

I tried Knoppix , i found /boot/grub/grub.conf still there and menu .lst
what can I do with Ultimate boot cd ?
