gnomeicu crash


I'm trying to make gnomeicu to work but everytime i get this error :

i'm also running kde and i want to use this gnome applet because i don't know of any other already installed on Slackware . any hints would be great .

PS i have called some programs to run on kde panel through the menu editor and i keep getting konsole sessions popping up along with the programs i click on . is there a way to stop this happenning ? thanks
