Gnome available disk space


hi guys

stupid quetion i know but could someone please tell me where i can find or how do i check for available disk space on gnome redhat 7.3 please

well Im sure there is a nice graphical way with gnome, but seeing as though I am a KDE user I cant tell you

what I can tell you though until someone else imparts their wisdom upon you is this:

Open a terminal window and type "df -h"

this isn't exact since i use kde myself and i'm just extrapolating the location through the gnome programs menu listing on my kde menu, but try out Gnome Button (like the start button i guess) > System > System monitor. click the "Filesystems (free)" tab and it will give you a listing of all your mounted hard drive partitions with the percentage of free space on all the partitions.
