Gentoo installation question

Everything I've read about Gentoo says that you download a small ISO and emerge everything else from the net.

The computer I run linux on has no net connection, will this be a problem or do the CD's bought from places like yourlinux.com contain all the source for packages available in the online trees?

if you have no net connection, meaning you can't get online then yes you probably need to buy the cd's, i'm currently downloading the basic version so i'll see what it's actually like but from what i understand you do need the internet unless you buy gentoo

Or download the isos and burn them....

You can untar a portage snapshot from CD1 rather then downloading it and go from there, but from what I can tell, a lot of the packages seem to be missing.

Either that or the dependencies, locations are set up wrong, 'cos it keeps trying to download stuff for me.
