gdm is slow

Weird thing started today. I booted my Fedora Core 5 box like I do every mourning. But now gdm takes like 30+ min. before displaying the logon screen. The same thing happens when I logout. I haven't tweaked any logon settings. Also, When I'm logged in, I can ping the servers I expect to hit, but I can't get any web pages to come up including the website for my D-link wireless router. All other boxes behind the router are running just fine. Not sure what files to post that would help.

I'm going to use this as an excuse to move back to Fedora 4 and wipe out that Windows partition that I never use.
