frame loosing when not using dri

Good day,...

i have noticed that if i use fglrx and not using dri module (in Xorg section).
you loose frames when you work in full screen mode.
for example:
using Xine i start a movie in window no problems if i go to fullscreen it loses frames.

noticed that only fglrx (i don't have nvidia card so i can't check it).

im using SID.

i need to disable dri to work with beryl.

Quite right - Beryl will not work well with fglrx. (Actually, it's the other way around. Did you remember to disable composite? Who told you to disable DRI?)
Using beryl with ATI cards is tricky...

The common combination is fglrx+glx+beryl
