firewall - Mandrake 8.2

I installed Mandrake 8.2 last night and now I'm trying to set everything up. First off, I was wondering if it's really necessary for me to have a firewall...I am connected to the internet via cable so I think it would probably be a good idea...

Do any firewalls come with Mandrake 8.2? If so, what's it called? If not, what is a good firewall to download?

Thanks for the replies y'all!

Having a small firewall is always a good idea. In Mandrake, you'll find firewall configuration in Mandrake Control Center.

mandrake 8.2 didn't come with a firewall, that was another reason that I went back to 8.1 .

Bastille is a good one to d/l, easy to set up also.

bastille is more than a firewall, and not really necessary. i'd recommend a simple gui config for iptables, such as firestarter, which DOES come with md82

thanks acid

I didn't know about firestarter, guess that I didn't have the patience with 8.2 that I should have.
In 8.1 it was tiny firewall in the config, but as it was booting you could see that it was starting Bastille.
