Fedora Core 5 And Apache

I just upgraded to Fedora Core 5 and now I can't get Apache to work.

I tried starting it up
/sbin/service httpd start

and Got this replay

Starting httpd: httpd: Syntax error on line 206 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/mod_access.so into server: /etc/httpd/modules/mod_access.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[FAILED]

If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Your old setup (Redhat 9.1?) had mod_access installed under /etc/httpd/modules. Now that you've copied over your httpd.conf file to the new installation, it can no longer find the module. Either it's not installed with the Apache package you used in Fedora or it's in another location.

If it's not installed, you can probably check your install media for files named apache* or httpd*. If it's in another location, you can search for it with find / -name 'mod_access.so' You may need to run the find command as root if your Apache files are installed as a user different than the one your searching as.

Since you upgraded, mod_access is no longer used.
