here is an idea i have actually used this one
if u have another computer at your disposal u can use pearpc to install fedora on pearpc, the virtual discs that are used for pearpc are .img files
u can use the dd command to write them back to a REAL HADDRIVE
if they your distro boots up and runs right under pearpc then all u have to do is write the .img to your real harddrive plug it back into your mac and bingo
