fc3: kernel header file install

Hello?

I am using FC3 and have the follwing qestions:

1. How do I find out if I have the appropriate kernel
headers installed? If not installed, how can I install?

2. How can I make sure that I have hotplug firmware loading
configured?

I am trying to make a wireless card working through some
kernel rebuilding.

cd /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build/include
if it works you got kernel headers (kernel source code)
No such file or directory
means no kernel source code (headers)

hotplug
cat /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug
it should return a link to a binary like udevsend

very modern systems might not need or use this hotplug hook so if your kernel is very new i don't know.
