ext 3 read write permissions

I just redid my partions to have my fileserver use ext3 instead of vfat, since I do not need to write from other windows boxes anymore. I was wondering how to edit fstab to allow all users to write to this partition not just root. Thanks in advance.

Here is the line I am currently using:
Code:
/dev/sda1 /mnt/storage ext3 defaults 0 1

Code:
/dev/sda1 /mnt/storage ext3 defaults,user,umask=000 0 1
should do it.. this will also allow any user to mount and the same user to unmount it.

The umask option is not listed for ext2 or ext3 in the man page for mount. You just need to mount the partition and have it's root directory's permissions set so that the users can access it.
