dhcp rpm scewed up


hi guys, I have downloaded dhcp rpm from redhat. But I execute the rpm(GUI), it pop up a small window with error msg. Fine I am going to install from cd rom(console). I don't know to install a rpm package from my cdrom

First,
mount /dev/cdrom
what are the rest of steps?

Info:
Install dhcp server package
OS -> redhat 7.2

Check the RedHat Customization Guide, Section 25.2.2.

Do you mean the DHCP server or client package?

For the server...

# # Mount the CD ROM (CD2?)
# mount /dev/cdrom
# Check the RPM package is there
# ls -l /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS/dhcp*
# # Install the package
# rpm -ivh /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPM/dhcp-2.0pl5-8.i386.rpm
