cpu type of the kernel


My cpu is intel pentium dual core T2410,and I don't know how to choose my cpu type when I compile the kernel,any idea?

The class would be Pentium4 (in the x86 family).

If it is a Core2 Duo (see features in /proc/cpuinfo), then you can also build for x86_64 - but if your system is 32-bit, then build for Pentium4.
