I was able to make a .pdf with
Code:
libreoffice --headless --nologo --convert-to pdf:writer_pdf_Export --print-to-file file.docx
Gave me a file.pdf
Code:
file file.docx
file.docx: Microsoft Word 2007+

file file.pdf
file.pdf: PDF document, version 1.4
I don't have cups installed.
Code:
libreoffice --version
LibreOffice 5.2.6.2 20m0(Build:2)
